Fitness and Lifeguard Opportunities

Detailed sessions will also be offered for people interested in being a fitness instructors or lifeguard.

Fitness Demonstrations: What is looks like to be an instructor

Location: Main Indoor Pool (Natatorium)
Time: 11 am to 1:30 pm

• Staff demonstrate different classes
• Potential instructors have opportunity to demonstrate skills

Schedule:

• 11 to 11:30 am: A look into different certifications and what it means to be an instructor
• 12 to 12:30 pm: Picking out the right music for different types of formats
• 1 to 1:30 pm: Questions and Answers

Lifeguard Pre-Course: Water component and information for online component of exam

Location: Main Indoor Pool (Natatorium)
Time: 11:30 am to 1 pm

Schedule:

• 11:30 to 12 pm: 1 lap lane, maximum 6 students
• 12 to 12:30 pm: 2 lap lanes, maximum 12 students
• 12:30 to 1 pm: 2 lap lanes, maximum 12 students

Additional Pre-Course testing times are available, please register in person at the Job Fair or register through ActiveNet.
