Nature & Trails

Wherever you are in Hillsboro, you're never far from nature, trails, and paths.

  • The 635-acre Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve and its  four miles of trails, is just a few blocks south of Downtown. Yet, when you visit the Preserve, you feel like the city is miles away.
  • Rock Creek Trail meanders through the eastern side of Hillsboro, giving walkers a variety of landscapes to enjoy.
  • There are also completed segments of the Crescent Park Greenway (CGP) to try out. Once finished, the CPG will be more than 15 miles long.
  • And, don't forget to check out the nature parks — Orenco Woods and Noble Woods.
