Hillsboro community members have access to 24-hour on-scene crisis intervention and ongoing support for situations involving domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and stalking.
Our Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) volunteer advocates are specially trained to work closely with police officers, the District Attorney’s Office, and local victim resource partners.
Get Help with Domestic Violence
You deserve to be safe in your home. You deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
Domestic violence can happen to anyone. It does not discriminate. You’re not alone, and it’s not your fault.
Please do not hesitate to call local resources for help. It could be the most important call you make for you and your family.
Please note: You are not required to file a police report in order to speak to a DVRT victim advocate. DVRT advocates working at Hillsboro Police Department are not law enforcement officers.

About the Domestic Violence Response Team
The Hillsboro Police Department Domestic Violence Response Team was established in 2004 to increase victim safety, lesson the effects of trauma and raise offender accountability through the work of our victim advocates and officers. The ultimate goal of the DVRT is to reduce repeat domestic abuse incidents within the same household.
