Wi-Fi Management Service

HiLight’s Wi-Fi Management Service IS an optional service for customers looking for HiLight to facilitate their in-home Wi-Fi experience.

HiLight’s Wi-Fi Management Service IS NOT an equipment charge.

All HiLight customers are provided with a fiber ONT... but...
Some may choose to purchase/use their own Wi-Fi router
Others will look to HiLight to facilitate their in-home Wi-Fi

HiLight’s Wi-Fi Management Service IS the solution!

HiLight's Wi-Fi Management Service Includes:

A Wi-Fi 6 dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz) enabled GigaSpire Blast u6 gateway with four ports that sends Wi-Fi throughout the home
Assistance from a professional HiLight technician with facilitating
Wi-Fi connectivity of other wireless devices in the home
Assistance with setting up network name and passwords and managing Wi-Fi security (SSID, WPA, password encryption, etc.)
Assistance with setting up the HiLight IQ mobile application
Timely response for Wi-Fi related service issues within the home
The HiLightIQ App that allows you to control your home network
Now featuring ProtectIQ! ProtectIQ is a network-level security application that works quietly in the background and proactively keeps malicious websites, viruses, and intrusions away from your home 24-7. Your data and assets are shielded from hostile activity over the internet with ProtectIQ protecting your home network.

HiLight will deliver listed download speeds to, and upload speeds from, the point of direct fiber connection within the home — the HiLight-provided ONT. Speeds beyond that point can be impacted by such factors as the number and types of devices connected, and how they are connected.

Customers who choose to use their own Wi-Fi equipment will also be responsible for managing their own in-home Wi-Fi service performance and experience.

Wi-Fi Mesh Extenders are available at an additional cost and are NOT included with the Wi-Fi Management Service.

All rates are subject to change. Applicable fees and taxes apply and are additional to these rates.

Fees are monthly recurring except where noted. Internet service includes one dynamic IP address. Higher bandwidth Internet access services are available to commercial accounts on a customized basis. Consult a HiLight representative for additional information. Multiple static IP addresses require approval by HiLight.

Voice access lines include calling features and unlimited local calls. Unlimited long distance to contiguous 50 U.S. states and Canada. HiLight reserves the right to terminate long distance services if usage exceeds what HiLight determines to be normal and ordinary standards of voice use. Hosted PBX rates are per line and do not include CPE.

Commercial installation charges are based on cost and/or contract terms. Customer is responsible for maintaining service throughout the required term, otherwise early termination fees may apply.

Customer needs to be registered with ARIN for their own ASN. Does not include dynamic routing. Not available for 500M tier.
