Monday Chalk Art Stroll

Chalk Art of woman, moon, and rabbit by Sharyn ChanEnjoy a special opportunity for a summer Monday stroll in the Cultural Arts District: one more day to enjoy the stunning chalk art from La Strada dei Pastelli!

The event footprint will remain open to pedestrians (closed to cars) on Monday, July 22 for the “Monday Chalk Art Stroll.” This opportunity offers residents and visitors an extra day to view the stunning chalk art, shop local businesses, and dine in Downtown Hillsboro.

A note about the nature of outdoor chalk art: the professional artists intend their work to be temporary and to exist for a beautiful moment in time—similar to a sandcastle festival. (On its own, the artwork deteriorates in the elements and car traffic would accelerate this process rapidly). Therefore, we invite everyone to — take lots of photos! —and seize the extra-day opportunity to check out the artwork, try a new restaurant, shop local, and enjoy a unique Monday experience in your Cultural Arts District!
