Scott has spent nearly 30 years in the finance/lending industry covering a wide range of roles.  Prior to joining Umpqua Bank, Scott was the primary Lender Relations Specialist at the SBA’s Portland District Office for over six years – providing support and guidance to active SBA lenders on both the 504 and 7a programs.  Through all of his positions – Scott has gained a strong appreciation and passion for supporting what is the “backbone” of our economy – small businesses – and helping them navigate what can be a daunting topic – access to capital.

Paul Jensen

Paul’s career encompasses industrial automation, starting in sales with Reliance Electric and Honeywell, then sales management.  He started a company called Holjeron to provide custom electronics to equipment builders and then sold it after 10 years to Matthews International, where he recently retired as President of the Industrial Automation business after more than tripling the business.  Paul now applies his entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Mid-Valley Angel Group.

Jenn Lynch is a venture capitalist and award-winning software executive. She is a partner at Portland Seed Fund and the Bend Venture Conference Fund and chairs the Oregon Innovation Council and Oregon Futures Commission. She has mentored, advised and invested in Oregon startups for more than a decade and is passionate about economic opportunity in the state.
