Notice of Apr. 9, 2024 Public Hearing
Growth in our community creates additional demands on our water system. The City of Hillsboro Water Department collects drinking water System Development Charges (SDCs) to ensure new growth pays their equable share to fund water system expansions.
The Hillsboro Water Department issued public notice, pursuant to ORS 223.304, on Jan. 8, 2024, of its intent to update the existing water SDCs. The update is based on the application of an updated water SDC study.
At the Apr.9, 2024 Utilities Commission meeting, a public hearing will be held in front of the City of Hillsboro Utilities Commission – who has the authority over the operation of the City water system and sets water rates and SDCs – to accept testimony regarding the proposed 2024 water SDC update:
- Date: Tuesday, April 9, 2024
- Time: 1:30 pm
- Location:
