Skate Sessions

10 am • 11:30 am • 1 pm • 2:30 pm • 4 pm • 5:30 pm • 7 pm

Each session is 60 minutes. Please arrive 15 minutes before your desired skate time.

Tickets may be purchased up to 15 minutes before each skate session. No advanced ticket sales. 
Skate sessions are first come, first served.
Each session can accommodate approximately 55 people. 

Payment Types

Credit, debit, and prepaid cards only. A reverse ATM will be available for people who have cash.

December 6 – Nutcracker Friday  

Enjoy the classical music of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite. Tutus are encouraged!

December 13 – Grinch Friday

Calling all Who's down in Whoville or just those who are feeling Grinchy this season. Come dressed as your favorite character and enjoy music from The Grinch.

December 20 – Ugly Holiday Sweater Friday

Wear your most loved holiday sweater and enjoy skating to festive music.

December 27 – Sensory Friendly Friday

This day is designed for Individuals with sensitivities to light and sound. The rink will feature low music and adjusted lighting.

January 3 – Frozen Friday

If you are a fan of Elsa and Anna, come skate to the tunes of Frozen – costumes welcome!

January 10 – 80s Throwback Friday

Grab your leg warmers and tease up your hair! Come rock out to the hits of the 1980s.

Great for birthday parties, office celebrations, and social groups!

• Approximately 30 skaters per private rental session. The cost is $300 for 3 hours.
• Reservations for private rentals will open at 8 am on Wednesday November 20.

• An account with Hillsboro Parks & Recreation will be required.

Orenco Station Know Before You Go

• The event is located on the MAX blue line at the “Orenco Station” stop and use of TriMet is encouraged.
• Street parking is limited.
• Parking is available at the Rowlock or Vector parking garages. The first 2 hours are free, but you must display a ticket in your car window.
• The event plaza is accessible for mobility devices with level, paved surfaces and curb ramps along the sidewalk.
• There are three accessible public restrooms available.

Ice Skating Know Before You Go:

• The rink is located outdoors, but is fully covered.
• Skate rentals are included in the cost of admission.
• You are welcome to bring your own skates, but there is no discount on ticket price.
• There are no advance tickets sales. All tickets must be purchased in person on the day of your skate session.
• Tickets can be purchased up to 30 minutes before your skate session begins.
• Helmets are not required but will be available at no charge. You are also welcome to bring your own.
• "Bobby the Seal" skating aids will be available for a $5 rental
• Participation waivers are required for all participants. Waivers will be available when purchasing tickets.

New this year – reservations are required on Fridays & Saturdays only.
All other days (Sunday – Thursday) are first come, first served.

Reservations will open Friday, November 22 @ 1 pm.
A ticket link will be posted on Wednesday, November 20.

For Fridays & Saturdays, have your digital or paper ticket ready for scanning.
Please arrive within 20 minutes of your reservation time.

Route Changes for 2024

Enter at Gate A (see map). Right-hand turns only.  

The fastest and easiest way to access the event is to travel north on Century Boulevard from Cornell Road.

There will be no access from Brookwood Parkway and limited access from Evergreen Parkway.
