Join us in celebrating Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). A tradition with pre-Hispanic roots that commemorates ancestors and deceased family members, it’s a distinctive holiday that embraces both death and life.

Eduardo Torres Cruz of Huehca Omeyocan will create an ofrenda (altar) which will be on display in the Walters lobby to honor the holiday.

The evening will also include a special screening of a short film about Huehca Omeyocan and their offerings and community activities, followed by a live performance featuring drumming and dancing.
