Downtown Hillsboro’s Block 67 redevelopment project is progressing toward its goal of making Downtown a more active, vibrant place. You’re invited to learn about the next steps during the second Block 67 community open house on Tuesday, July 11, at the Walters Cultural Arts Center.
Open house attendees will be first to hear about recent market studies for residential uses and grocer uses, and light refreshments will be provided.

About 150 people attended the first Block 67 open house in March to discuss possible uses for the site between SE Washington and SE Baseline streets, and SE 6th and 7th avenues.
In April and May, more than 400 people participated in an online survey and shared preferences for the Block 67 site, including:
- Grocery store/food service
- Retail (shops, services, coffee shops)
- Restaurants
- Recreational activity (theatre, athletic facility)
- Residential units
- Open space
- Parking
- Boutique hotel
- Offices
- Hotel
Later this summer, the City of Hillsboro Economic Development Department will begin seeking potential development partners for Block 67, and project updates will continue to be shared online at Hillsboro-Oregon.gov/Block67.
