Once upon a time...Find the story where nature and your experience meet. This four session workshop delves into the most important components of rich, authentic storytelling. Through hands-on participation learn how to find, shape and present stories for a listening audience. In a supportive environment through group, partner and individual exercises, be guided through a step-by-step method of learning to tell a story without memorization. Discover how to add details to make the story uniquely yours and learn effective story rehearsal and performance techniques. Bring an existing nature story to shape or find a new story from your life. This workshop culminates in an opportunity to perform the story you've prepared. Holly Robison is an international storyteller. Her passion is historical and folk tales and instilling in others a love of storytelling. She has worked extensively with students in the Hillsboro School District.
