The City of Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Department will host an open house on Saturday, May 18, from 10 am to 2 pm at Hillsboro Fire Station 1, located at 240 South First Avenue in Downtown Hillsboro.

• Check out the fire engines
• Try on the equipment
• Learn how to protect your family during a fire or emergency
• Kids can spin the prize wheel and have their picture taken in a cutout of a firefighter in action
