Start with an overview of the program, time commitments, training requirements, and other details, then tour the library and visit with staff and volunteers to learn about the opportunities. If you decide to volunteer, sign up for interviews and orientations. Some assignments require a weekly three to six month commitment, some have monthly or bimonthly commitments. Youth volunteers must be currently enrolled in seventh grade or higher.
