Pix in the Park is Hillsboro’s free outdoor movie series with films each Friday night in August.

Bring a blanket or low-backed chair and stretch out in front of the big screen! Food vendors will be available, or bring your own snacks. Movies will be closed captioned in English. Seating opens at 8pm, and movies begin at dusk (between 8:30-9pm). All movies will be held at Shute Park. 

Movies this year include Trolls World Tour on August 6th; Onward on August 13th; Raya and the Last Dragon on August 20th; and The Goonies on August 27th.

Friday, August 6: Trolls World Tour

In Trolls World Tour, Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and Branch (Justin Timberlake) discover that there are six different troll tribes scattered over six different lands. Each tribe is also devoted to six different kinds of music -- funk, country, techno, classical, pop and rock. When rockers Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) and King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne) set out to destroy the other music, Poppy and Branch embark on a daring mission to unite the trolls and save the diverse melodies from becoming extinct. (PG, 1h 31min)
