Pix in the Park is Hillsboro’s free outdoor movie series with films each Friday night in August.
Bring a blanket or low-backed chair and stretch out in front of the big screen! Food vendors will be available, or bring your own snacks. Movies will be closed captioned in English. Seating opens at 8pm, and movies begin at dusk (between 8:30-9pm). All movies will be held at Shute Park.
Movies this year include Trolls World Tour on August 6th; Onward on August 13th; Raya and the Last Dragon on August 20th; and The Goonies on August 27th

Raya and the Last Dragon travels to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together in harmony long ago. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya (Kelly Marie Tran), to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well. (PG, 1h 30 min)
