Commissions, Committees, and Boards
The Audit Committee provides a practical way to ensure management, independent auditors and the governing board meets their respective responsibilities in regards to providing sound financial reporting, internal controls and overall accountability in a public sector environment.
The Budget Committee acts as the fiscal planning board for the City by reviewing, revising and approving the City budget as presented by the Budget Officer.
The Finance Committee advises the Council on City financial matters, oversees City fiscal audits, reviews City investment programs, and provides recommendations to the City Council on financial policies and actions.
