• Applicants must live or work in Oregon or Southwest Washington. Priority will be given to authors residing in Washington County, but authors from nearby counties (Multnomah, Clackamas) are also encouraged to apply.
• Authors must be the author of the book.
• The book must currently be in print (no forthcoming books). 
• Authors must have physical copies of their books available for sale at the event. E-book only authors are not eligible.  Staff will not be able to support transactions or provide change.
• Attend the entire public event (12-4 pm).

• Applications will be accepted through Monday, October 28, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
• Due to space limitations, not all applicants may be selected. Selection will be based on a combination of publication date, local interest, genre diversity, and the quality of the work. Authors with a strong social media presence or local bookstore availability may also receive priority.
• Accepted authors will be notified by Friday, November 15, 2024.

• Each author will be provided with one (1) 2½' x 5' table and two chairs.
• Authors must attend and be responsible for their own displays, including cash boxes, electronic payment systems, and any promotional materials. No banners or wall/ceiling hangings are permitted.
• The Library is not responsible for collecting payments on behalf of the authors. We are not able to provide change, cash boxes, or credit card readers. If you choose to accept electronic payments, your unit must operate wirelessly, and its setup and configuration are your responsibility. The Library has a publicly accessible Wi-Fi.  The Library cannot provide technical support. 
• Participants are expected to promote the event through their networks and may be featured in the library’s promotional materials.

• The library will not provide technical support, reimbursements, or compensation for participation.
• Authors must attend the event in person and handle their own sales transactions.
• High-resolution headshots and book cover images will be requested upon acceptance for promotional use.
• Programs, events, and classes may be photographed and/or videotaped for library promotional purposes.
