Walters Performance Series

The Walters Performance Series takes place from September through May of each year, presenting a dynamic, multi-faceted season of performers and productions from around the world and from right here at home, featuring dance, jazz, folk, opera, rock, Latin, classical, acoustic guitar, blues, singer-songwriters, and much more. The series also includes several Family Matinee shows with youth-friendly content for all ages and several community dance events, such as Salsa Nights that include a dance lesson and live band.

Showtime Concert Series

Showtime Concert Series is an outdoor summer concert series that has provided the Hillsboro community with free, family-friendly entertainment for more than 30 years. Taking place Thursday nights in June and July, Showtime Concert Series brings live music to audiences at Shute Park.

Historic Shute Park, the longtime home of Showtime Concert Series, has a built-in performance platform and plenty of space to lounge on a blanket or sit in low-back chairs and enjoy the music. This culturally and musically diverse series brings neighbors together for dancing and fun. Enjoy food truck fare or bring a picnic!
