Fix-A-Fine Voucher Program

What Is It?

This program is designed to help community members fix vehicle safety issues while limiting financial burden. Officers can issue a voucher with or without a citation for any vehicle defect(s) and the voucher can be redeemed at any of the participating local stores. Each retailer has different discount amounts, usually between 10% to 20%. People redeeming the voucher are limited to the items listed by the issuing officer (1 to 3 items). Once the item is fixed, those who received a citation can present the fixed issue to the court for dismissal consideration.

How Does It Work?

The voucher you were given can be used to fix the vehicle issues listed on the voucher. If you were issued a citation (ticket) in addition to being given this voucher, make sure you save your completed voucher. The completed voucher, along with photos or other proof the issue was fixed can be presented to the Hillsboro Municipal Court.

Please note:

  • City of Hillsboro employees and their families are not eligible for this program.
  • Only the items on your voucher may be offered a discount at participating retailers.
  • Retailers retain the right to limit discount amount and number of items discounted.
