Schedule an Appointment

All sex offender registrations, including annual reports, changes of address, legal name changes and notice of intended international travel are in-person and by appointment only. We do not provide service for walk-in registrations.

Change of Address 

To register a change of address, you are required to provide written proof of an address change within 10 days of a move. Accepted documents are:

  • Statements or bills reflecting the new address
  • Mail received at the new residence that is addressed to you
  • Paperwork from parole officer
  • Driver license or government-issued ID card

Legal Name Change 

Sex offenders with reporting requirements who legally change their names must report a legal name change within 10 days of that change taking effect.

Failure to report a legal name change is punishable by up to 364 days imprisonment, $6,250 fine, or both. If the sex crime requiring reporting is a felony, the law punishes failure to report the legal name change by maximum five years imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both.

Intended International Travel

Sex offenders with reporting requirements who intend to engage in international travel must report intended international travel at least 21 days prior to any intended travel outside of the United States.

Failure to report intended international travel is punishable by maximum of 364 days imprisonment, $6,250 fine, or both.
