About

Currently there are no school crossings on either SE 67th Avenue or SE Century Boulevard for students travelling to Rosedale Elementary School. Crossing these roads has been identified as the key concern.

Proposed Improvements

The project improvements will include:

• Enhanced crossing with a refuge island on SE Century Boulevard north of SE Damask Street
• School crossing on SE 67th Avenue at SE Genrosa Street

This project is being primarily funded through the Oregon Department of Transportation Safe Routes to School Construction Grant.

Activity

Engineering for the SE 67th Avenue/Genrosa Street crossing portion of the project is completed and construction is scheduled to be completed by early winter 2022. The Century Boulevard crossing is in the pre-design phase.
