About

The project will replace the existing sanitary sewer line located along NE Shannon Street between 2nd Avenue and NE 2nd Place.  There will be no impact to the sanitary sewer during construction.

Proposed Improvements

The project is designed to improve the sanitary sewer line to increase sewage capacity and help maintenance and cleaning efforts. 
Improvements include:

• Installing approximately 320 linear feet of 8-in pipe and 120 linear feet of 4-in pipe. 
• Installing one new manhole structure. 
• Replacing road and sidewalk as needed.

Activity

A Construction contract is awarded to Phil Excavating Inc. 

Project Timeline

• 100% Design: Completed
• Bid: March 2024
• Construction: Construction is scheduled to start between May 2024 and September 2024. Once construction starts the contractor has 45 days to complete.
