Winter Wonderland

Celebrate winter at the wetlands! This family-friendly event features seasonal crafts, animals, story time, winter walks, and even more fun!

Jackson Bottom Wetlands
All Ages | Saturday, December 14 | 11 am to 4 pm
$5 per person, children 3 and under are free

Juneteenth Holiday: Select recreation centers open with limited classes & services; City offices & libraries closed

  • Date: 06/19/2023  (all day)

The Civic Center, Parks & Recreation Administration, and Public Works offices will be closed.

Brookwood and Shute Park Libraries will be closed. Visit the Library website.

Shute Park Aquatic & Recreation Center will be open 5:30 am to 9:30 pm. Modified fitness class schedule to be determined. No swim lessons or Kids Club.

Hidden Creek Community Center will be open from 5:30 am to 9 pm. Modified fitness class schedule to be determined. Kids Club will be closed.

Outdoors In will be open for Public Play from 9 am to 12 pm and Sensory Sensitive Play from 1:30 to 4:30 pm.

The Jackson Bottom Nature Center, Senior Center, Tyson Recreation Center, and Walters Cultural Arts Center will be closed.

The Fire & Rescue Department will respond to 911 calls as usual. Fire prevention and the main office will be closed.

The Police Department will operate as usual.
