Intrigued by science fiction and fantasy, 11-year-old Mekail combines watercolor, acrylic paint, markers, and pen to create a series of monster illustrations.
Mekail Maimoon is a young amateur artist born and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. He loves reading science fiction and fantasy and creating his own stories and comics.
Mainly working in digital art, he is an avid fan of design software such as Blender, Adobe Illustrator and Procreate. He also loves to teach himself programming.
This exhibit is on display starting on September 5 through October 27 and is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
