Your donation lives on when you support Hillsboro Parks & Recreation endowment funds. 

Endowed funds invest the corpus — or principal — to grow over time, distributing only the returns. For every $1,000 donated to an endowment, $50 will be put into the community every year, FOREVER.

Contributions to our Parks & Recreation Hillsboro Arts & Culture Endowment and Living Legacy Endowment funds below are invested by the Hillsboro Community Foundation in partnership with the Oregon Community Foundation to optimize fund returns.

Your contribution ensures that ongoing financial support for the arts in Hillsboro will grow. 

The Hillsboro Arts & Culture Endowment is dedicated to creating a permanent funding source to support non-profit arts organizations and individual artists working in all genres of art. Since 2015, the Endowment has provided funding for Hillsboro nonprofit arts and culture organizations, as well as for individual artists to encourage the creative expression of our diverse community.

The Hillsboro Arts & Culture Endowment is funded by the community, for the community.

Living Legacy Endowment

Every day, 10,000 Americans celebrate their 65th birthday. As society ages, it is important to create additional health, wellness, and cultural offerings to keep the population nimble. That is why we have created the Living Legacy Endowment.

The Endowment financially supports new and/or enhanced life enrichment programs that provide opportunities to promote community involvement, peer to peer and intergenerational connections, and lifelong learning for Hillsboro's older adults.

The Living Legacy Endowment is a way for you to directly support lifelong learning and fulfillment both inside and outside of the Hillsboro Community Senior Center.
