Current Activity and Schedule
The NE Jackson School Road Project is nearing the final stages of completion. Crews continue to wrap up minor project elements including minor striping, signage, and landscaping. The roses have completed their journey from the Sonrise Church Community Garden to their final home at the Harold Eastman Rose Garden. The Rose Society and Parks Department continue to work to beautify and maintain the rose garden space.
Additionally, the placement of underground utilities has been completed. The multi-use paths have been marked with bicycle and pedestrian icons to help users understand which side of the path they should use for each activity.
Please note this video was created in 2017 and some aspects of the construction design have changed.
