Building Permit
Required for Build a new commercial building, residential home, shed or structure. Build an addition to a commercial building, residential home, shed or structure. Repair, renovate or demolish any building or structure. Change the use and/or occupancy of a building.
Electrical Permit
Required for works such as: all new construction that are served by electrical power, installation, alteration or relocation of electrical service or feeder, alteration or extensions of branch circuits, anything meeting the definition of an “electrical installation” in 479.530(10).
Mechanical Permit
Required for all commercial mechanical work, and residential scope such as, AC replacement, duct installation, and gas piping installation.
Plumbing Permit
Required for installing new plumbing fixtures, replacing a water heater, installing or replacing a shower pan, piping inside a wall, veiling or beneath a floor.
Demolition Permit
Required for the complete removal of a commercial structure over 120 square feet and residential structures over 200 square feet in floor area. Removal of a portion of a structure is defined as an alteration and requires a building permit.
Fire Alarm Permit
Required for all commercial fire alarm and detection scope of work as well as all emergency alarm scope of work. A separate low voltage electrical permit is required for these installations.
Fire Suppression Permit
Required for all commercial fire sprinkler scope of work. Underground fire water supply scope of work, however, will require a Private Utility Permit.
Manufactured Dwelling Permit
Required for the set or alteration of a manufactured dwelling as defined in 2010 Oregon Manufactured Dwelling Installation Specialty Code (OMDISC).
Medical Gas Permit
Required for the installation or alteration of medical gas piping, tanks, and vacuum systems in a health care facility.
Private Utility & Parking Lot Permit
